Parish Project 2009
Please see the Merlin (Medical Emergency Relief International) website for details of this charity.
Merlin provides medical relief and lasting health care in 39 different countries throughout the world, many of which have been in the news in recent years, including Afghanistan, Rwanda, Congo, Kenya, Pakistan, Sudan, Bangladesh, Liberia, Palestine and Ethiopia. In 2008 its work had a direct impact on over 3.8 million people.
Thank you to everyone who has helped with, and supported our appeal for, Merlin. We have raised £4,500 which is a fantastic result.
There will be a number of associated events happening throughout the year to raise money for the Parish Project. Keep an eye on the Diary page.
Open Gardens - 14 June 2009
Following another wonderful day exploring the gardens of Eaton Bray and Edlesborough, photos of the day are now available. The money raised is to be shared between this year's parish project and the St Mary's Fabric Fund.
Photographs from the day are available in the Open Gardens 2009 photo gallery.
