Open Gardens - Art & Music Festival - Sunday 9 June 2013
Sunday 9 June 2013 - 12noon to 5pm
This joyful village event depends upon people who will open their gardens and receive the praise of visitors. Perhaps you could persuade someone (you?) to open their garden for the afternoon. Kay Griffiths or Gordon Gray will be pleased to receive such offers and from those willing to help on the day serving refreshments, selling plants etc. Maybe during March and April you could split some of your herbaceous plants both to improve their health and to sell at the event.
Music at Open Gardens: Do you know of a local acoustic band or singer? We are looking for artistes to play at the Open Gardens event between 1pm and 4pm. If you would like to offer your services, please contact Barbara Morton.
Edlesborough Festival 7 - 9 June: Look out for details of the first Festival organised by the Friends of the Church on the Hill to coincide with Open Gardens. There will be flowers, arts, crafts, workshops, jazz, choral and organ music. The web address is www.edlesboroughchurch.org.uk.
