In July it was noticed that the silver cross used at our services had been damaged and needed repair. Because of the risk of injury if the silver cross became detached, we stopped using it and substituted a wooden cross while repairs were made. These have now been completed and our silver cross is once more prominent at our worship.

We also took the opportunity to have the chalices used at our 10 o'clock services reshaped and re-gilded.
