A meeting has been arranged for 30th March when the Bishop of Bedford & the Archdeacon of Bedford will meet the PCC to discuss the recruitment procedures and identify the sort of person the parish would like to fill the post.

Once the post has been advertised the 'Parish Representatives', acting on behalf of the PCC, will be closely involved in the selection and interviewing procedures - which are now more open than hitherto.

Whilst we cannot predict when an appointment might be made, we have been assured that there are no financial or other reasons why the Vacancy will be any longer than necessary.
