The contractors have completed work on the Chancel Roof, so all the roof has been replaced except the North Aisle and Chapel. This will have to be done but it does not appear to be leaking at present. To protect the lead on the roof from theft, we have installed an alarm system and marked all the lead with Smart Water so that if it was stolen and traced it could be uniquely identified as having come from this church.

You will be very aware that we are now sitting much more comfortably in church thanks to the generous donation of new chairs (also protected by marking with Smart Water). The chairs certainly enhance the interior of the church and give us a much more flexible layout when we need it.

We have made progress with the new pulpit. Notices are now on display for 28 days so we can apply for a faculty; this should be a formality and we will be able to place an order this year for our design to be built.
