Prayer and Praise Housegroup

The Prayer and Praise group meets together on the second Tuesday of the month at 10.30 am in the church. This fellowship group is open to all and is another opportunity to gather together as Christians and to come closer to God in prayer and worship. It is very informal and no one is obliged to do anything other than just be there but hopefully enjoy and join in the singing and discussion! We begin with light refreshments, over which we share our news and any prayer requests for family and friends. These are then brought to God in an opening prayer. Then we worship God in song and reflect on a subject from the Bible or something else about faith. This is followed by prayers for the church and the world. In the past we have looked at biblical subjects such as forgiveness or heroic and famous Christians such as Corrie ten Boom and John Wesley. The group has also enjoyed lovely meals out together at Christmas at The Swan in Northall getting to sing carols in the pub which the other customers have always appreciated! If anyone would like to join the group then just come along (dates are also advertised in the pew leaflet the previous week) or speak to Chriss Hewitt.
