Whipsnade Tree Cathedral Annual Picnic, Service & Celebration, Sunday 7 June 2026, 11pm-4pm

Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, friends, and the dog and join us for a community picnic at Whipsnade Tree Cathedral between 11pm and 4pm. The beautiful surroundings of the Tree Cathedral are the perfect setting for a day in nature. You bring the picnic and we'll bring family-friendly games to keep the children entertained.

There will be guided history tours throughout the day between 11am - 3pm, a teddy bear hunt for little explorers, as well as lots of other fun activities and games to borrow.

We'll have members of the National Trust team and our wonderful volunteers on-site, so, if you're interested in finding out more about the conservation work we do here, or how you could get involved, come and chat to us.

At 2pm, there will also be an optional service with Whipsnade Church who'll be joined by the Salvation Army band.

Please bring your own seating and/or blankets, as we have limited chairs and picnic benches. No need to book, it's all free. Simply turn up and enjoy the day.
