Open Gardens Festival - Sunday 8 June

Since 2006, one of the social highlights of the year in our villages has been our Open Gardens event. We had seven wonderful years enjoying the gardens that were opened by willing gardeners and both the gardeners and visitors enjoyed some wonderful days. Sadly in 2013 the winter was long and cold – simply not gardening weather and we were unable to hold the event. So this year we need to make a special effort to ensure this great day out is not lost to the annual calendar. We already have a few offers of gardens but we do need some more.

Now is the time to offer to open your garden. It can be large or small – all gardens have something to offer visitors and past experience suggests that those who open their gardens are delighted by the positive feedback they receive. Do please think about it, then get in touch with Kay Griffiths.
