GIFT (Growing In Faith Together)

Mission

To provide a regular opportunity for young adults to discuss and explore their faith in a safe environment.

Vision

To accept that the group needs and dynamics may change over time and to respond appropriately.

Aims

  1. To provide a safe environment in which young people can explore their faith together.
  2. To offer a variety of formats and meeting styles for discussion and worship.
  3. To provide the members with Christian support as long as they want it.
  4. To enable and equip the members to become leaders if they so wish.

In trying to achieve these aims the group expects to:

  • have fun.
  • explore our faith together.
  • enjoy a wide variety of formats and meeting styles.
  • try to tackle any difficult questions that arise.
  • provide opportunities for young people to take roles in regular Sunday worship.
  • provide opportunities to take part in social and community activities.
